The Third Squad reports the arrest of three men for an incident that occurred on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 8:30 PM in Uniondale.
According to Detectives, Third Precinct Officers observed a 2013 Mercedes Benz traveling westbound on Hempstead Turnpike. The vehicle had dark tinted windows and Officers conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law Stop at Surrey Lane and Fulton Avenue. During the course of a thorough investigation a loaded firearm was recovered from one of the occupants and a greenish brown leafy substance believed to be Marihuana was recovered from an ashtray inside the vehicle. Two defendants were taken into police custody without incident while the third defendant Khalid Mascoll gave a brief struggle.
Khalid Mascoll, 24, of 2266 Ralph Avenue, Brooklyn is charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a weapon 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of Forgery Devices, Resisting Arrest and eleven (11) counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Mineola.
Ismael Camille, 29, of 1592 North Jerusalem Road, North Merrick is charged with Criminal Possession of Forgery Devices and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Mineola.
James Camille, 24, of 1592 North Jerusalem Road, North Merrick is charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana 2nd Degree. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to First District Court on March 23rd, 2021.
