
The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Rockville Centre man for a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday January 11, 2021 at 10:45 am in Oceanside.
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, an unknown male entered the Chase Bank located at 3285 Long Beach Road. The subject approached the teller, demanded money and announced a robbery. The teller recognized the subject from a previous robbery and refused to comply. The subject fled the scene.
A short time later, the same subject entered another Chase Bank located at 915 Atlantic Avenue in Baldwin. He approached the teller, announced a robbery and demanded money. The teller complied and the subject fled with an undisclosed amount of US currency.
An investigation was conducted and defendant Brian Quinn, 45, of 123 Greystone Road was located at approximately 3:50 pm and arrested in Hempstead for both incidents.
During further investigation it was determined that Quinn was also responsible for the following incidents in Nassau County:
12/31/2020 – Grand Larceny 3rd degree – Rockville Centre - Defendant stole a 2008 Honda Civic
1/1/2021 – Petit Larceny – Oceanside – Stole merchandise at a Gas Station located at 2650 Long Beach Road.
1/6/2021 – Robbery 3rd degree – Oceanside - Robbery at Chase Bank located at 3285 Long Beach Road. Proceeds were an undisclosed amount of US currency.
1/8/2021 – Grand Larceny 4th degree – Roosevelt - Defendant stole a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee
1/10/2021 – Attempted Burglary 3rd degree – Oceanside - CVS located at 70 Atlantic Avenue
1/11/2021 – Grand Larceny 3rd degree – Rockville Center - Defendant stole a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Defendant Brian Quinn is charged with two counts of Petit Larceny, two counts of Robbery 3rd degree, Grand Larceny 4th degree, Attempted Burglary 3rd degree and Attempted Robbery 3rd degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Mineola.
