
The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Brooklyn man for VTL violations that occurred in Inwood on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 2:20 am.
According to detectives, Fourth Precinct Police observed the defendant Christopher Landburg – Parker,34 of 591 Grand Avenue Apt 2 operate a 2013 Nissan north on Sheridan Boulevard without a license plate. A VTL stop was initiated on Sheridan Boulevard in the vicinity of Bays Water Boulevard. Fourth Precinct police observed an out of state license plate on the deck of the rear window making it difficult to read. Further investigation revealed that defendant Landburg – Parker was operating his vehicle with license plates not belonging to him and also did have a New York State Parole warrant for his arrest. Fourth Precinct Police attempted to then place the defendant into police custody at which time he attempted to run from the police. After a brief struggle the defendant Christopher Landburg – Parker was placed into police custody. One Fourth Precinct Police Officer suffered pain to his left knee after falling to the ground and another Officer suffered back pain. Both officers were transported to a nearby hospital and were treated and released.
Christopher Landburg – Parker is charged with multiple VTL violations, 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, Resisting Arrest, and 2 counts of Assault 2nd Degree, New York State Parole Violation.
He will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
