The Second Squad reports the arrest of male for multiple Burglaries that occurred on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 2:45 p.m. in Hicksville.
According to Detectives, Second Precinct Officers responded to a residence on Mead Avenue for a burglary that just occurred. Upon arrival officers broadcast a description of the subject. Responding officers located the defendant Carlos Morinville, 27, with no known address, and placed him into custody. A further investigation determined the defendant was also responsible for the following burglaries:
On 3/16/21 - A residence on Circle Drive in Westbury
On 3/24/21 – A residence on Barry Drive in Hicksville
On 4/7/21 – A residence on Princess Street in Hicksville
On 4/8/21 – A residence on Mirabelle Avenue in Westbury
The defendant Carlos Morinville has been charged with three (3) counts of Burglary 2nd Degree, two (2) counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, two (2) counts of Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree and Grand Larceny 4th Degree. He will be arraigned on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in Mineola.
