The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Bellmore man for a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 4:40 pm in Bellmore.
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, a male entered Keezac Pharmacy located at 111 Bedford Avenue, displayed a box cutter and placed it to the neck of a female employee. The subject demanded prescription pain medication. The female was able to escape from the subject and fled the store. The store manager complied and the male fled the scene with an unknown amount of medication.
Responding Officers located the subject a short time later near the intersection of Newbridge Road/Oak Street and defendant Patrick Devine, 33, of 33 Croydon Drive was arrested. The female victim suffered a laceration to her right hand and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Defendant Devine is charged with five (5) counts of Robbery 1st Degree, Robbery 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in Mineola.
