
The Third Squad reports the arrest of Freeport man on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 8:53 AM in Rockville Centre.
According to Detectives, defendant Robert Tomo, 35, of 248 Guy Lombardo Avenue entered a coffee shop located in Rockville Centre at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 30, 2021. Shortly thereafter, the defendant approached the 21-year-old female victim from behind and touched her inappropriately. Defendant Tomo, who is a regular patron, was told by the victim, who works at the coffee shop, that this was not okay and he left the location. On Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 8:53 AM, the defendant returned to the location. The victim recognized the defendant and called 911. Rockville Centre police responded to the location and placed the defendant under arrest without further incident.
Defendant Robert Tomo is charged with (2) ounts of Forcible Touching, (1) count of Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree, and (1) count of Stalking 4th Degree. He will be arraigned on Monday, August 2, 2021 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, in Hempstead.
