The Second Squad reports the arrest of an Elmont man for an incident that occurred in Hicksville on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 7:30 pm.
According to detectives, two male subjects forcibly entered a Cedar Street residence through a basement door, occupied by a 26-year-old male victim and his father, 57. Once inside the residence, one of the subjects began punching the victim in his face, demanding cash. Both males then fled the scene on foot when the victim’s father entered the room and said he was calling the police.
A subsequent investigation by detectives, led to the identity of Wade Sudlow, 25, of 479 Eureka Avenue, who surrendered himself to detectives at the Second Precinct on August 30, 2021 and he was placed under arrest for the above incident. The second male subject has not yet been apprehended.
Defendant Wade Sudlow is charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree and Assault 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
