The Homicide Squad reports on a Vehicular Accident that occurred in Hempstead on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 5:55 AM.

According to Detectives, a Ford Fusion, operated by a 54-year old male did strike a 66-year old male pedestrian near the intersection of North Franklin Avenue and Fulton Avenue. The driver remained at the scene. The victim sustained severe head trauma and was transported by a Nassau County Police Ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. Victim is currently in critical condition. Investigation is ongoing.
