The Special Victims Squad reports the arrest of a Woodmere man that occurred on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 6:20 pm in Woodmere for Sexual Abuse.
According to detectives, an investigation was conducted for an incident that occurred on August 28, 2021 at 3:00 pm. The investigation led to the arrest of Defendant Judah Karkowsky, 41, of 315 Edward Avenue at his place of residence. The Defendant Karkowsky while acting as a volunteer paramedic for the Woodmere Fire Department, inappropriately touched a 13-year-old male juvenile. The investigation is ongoing.
Defendant Judah Karkowsky is charged with Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arranged on Friday, September 24, 2021 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
