The Missing Persons Squad isinvestigating a Missing Juvenile that occurred in Hempstead on Wednesday,October 6, 2021 at 9:00 pm and was reported to police on Wednesday, October 6, 2021at 11:30 pm.

According to detectives,Ashley Abarca, 14, was last seen leaving her Hempstead home on foot.  Sheis described as a female, Hispanic, 5’1” tall, 110 pounds, with brown eyes andblack hair. She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants andblack sneakers. Her destination is unknown.
