The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at approximately 3:57 p.m. in Baldwin.
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, an unknown male entered the Capital One bank located at 2303 Grand Avenue. The subject approached the teller, verbally demanded money and presented a demand note. The subject then displayed a handgun. The teller complied and the subject fled on foot with an undetermined amount of US currency. He was last seen heading southbound on Grand Avenue.
The subject is described as a male black, age is late 40’s-early 50’s, with an average build. The subject was wearing a black jacket, black pants, black knit hat with a brim, black gloves and a blue surgical mask.
There were seven employees and one customer present at the time of the robbery. There were no injuries reported.

Two subjects have been arrested for the above listed Robbery. Defendants Demetri Miller, 58, of Northern Parkway, Uniondale and Curtis Williams, 35, of 215 Hudson Avenue, Freeport. Both are charged with three counts of Robbery 2nd degree and three counts of Robbery 3rd degree. They will be arraigned on Friday, February 25, 2022 at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
