The Homicide Squad reports an Assault that occurred on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2:20 AM in Long Beach.

According to Detectives, an adult male was shot in the vicinity of 425 East Broadway and sustained severe injuries. Long Beach Police responded and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The victim is currently in critical condition. 

The investigation is ongoing.
