The mission of NCPD Takes Down Drugs is to combat the drug abuse epidemic that affects communities on Long Island and throughout the United States. Inspired by the Wrestling Takes Down Drugs™ program, NCPD Takes Down Drugs was formed in 2019 and seeks to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. We invite children and young adults to challenge their community or organization to take down drugs in their own way. We believe that education, awareness, and building self-esteem in young people are the keys to winning this fight.
