The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 10:35 pm in Rockville Centre.
According to detectives, a Nassau County Police Medic discovered a vehicular accident on Peninsula Boulevard approximately a mile south of the Southern State Parkway. The driver, a 24-year-old male, operating a 2006 Mini Cooper, was traveling southbound when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The male operator sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. He is listed in critical condition.
A male passenger in his twenties was pronounced at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
