The Nassau County Police Department reports on an Auto Accident that occurred on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 12:30 PM in Levittown.
According to Police, an 86-year-old female operating a 2002 Ford was attempting to park in the lot of a 7/11, located at 2901 Hempstead Turnpike. While parking, she accidently hit the gas instead of the brakes, causing the vehicle to collide with the building and resulting in the front glass to break. One person sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The operator of the vehicle reported no injuries and remained at scene. No criminality is suspected at this time.
