The First Squad reports the arrest of a Queens man for a Kidnapping that occurred on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 1:30 pm in Roosevelt.

According to detectives, officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in the First Precinct. Upon arrival, officers were informed that Kamani Roach, 29, of 168-20 127^th Avenue was involved in a verbal argument with a female victim, 21, who was then forcefully removed from her home and placed inside his vehicle before fleeing scene.

A short time later, Nassau County Detectives worked in conjunction with the NYPD and located the female victim. Subsequent to the investigation, Defendant Kamani Roach was located and placed into police custody without incident.

Defendant Kamani Roach is charged with Kidnapping 2^nd Degree and Unlawful Imprisonment 2^nd Degree.   He will be arraigned on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
