The Third Squad reports an Arrest that occurred at 6:00pm on Friday, October 20, 2023, in East Garden City.
According to Detectives, at approximately 5:30pm the female victim, 68, had exited Macy’s located at 630 Old Country Road and walked over to her vehicle.  At that time, Defendant Marcus McIntosh, 28, of 13 Midland Lane Wheatley Heights approached her from behind and with an unknown hard object struck the victim in the back of the head causing substantial pain and swelling.  Officers located the Defendant at 637 Stewart Avenue and without incident placed him under arrest.  The victim was evaluated on scene by a Nassau County Police Medic.
Defendant Marcus McIntosh is charged with Assault 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on Saturday October 21, 2023, in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
