The Homicide Squad is investigating a Fatal Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 10:26 pm in Glen Head.
According to detectives, an unknown male pedestrian was struck by a silver 2003 Chevrolet Impala traveling southbound, while he was attempting to cross Glen Cove Road in the vicinity of Cedar Swamp Road. The male suffered severe trauma and was pronounced by a medic at scene.
The male operator of the vehicle, 25, remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.

The victim has been identified as Jose Ruben Fernandez, 45, of Glen Cove.
