The First Squad reports the arrest of an East Rockaway man for a Burglary that occurred on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 4:42 pm in Baldwin.

According to Detectives, Defendant Manuel Alvarez, 61, of 62 4^th Avenue while employed at Kolstein Music located at 795 Foxhurst Road did remove assorted items and various musical instruments valued over one million dollars from the above location, without permission, to an unknown location in Florida. 

After an extensive investigation, the Defendant Manuel Alvarez was located and placed under arrest without incident.

Defendant Manuel Alvarez is charged with Burglary 3^rd Degree, Grand Larceny 1^st Degree and Criminal Facilitation 4^th Degree. He was arraigned on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
