The First Squad reports the arrest of a Flushing man for an incident that occurred on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 6:37 PM in Roosevelt.
According to detectives, a male victim, 21, agreed to sell a bicycle to an unknown potential purchaser through Facebook Marketplace. Both parties agreed to meet in the vicinity of Nassau Road and E. Fulton Avenue. The male subject tested out the bicycle but did not return or render payment. A short time later, the victim located the subject and after a brief struggled ensued, the subject brandished a knife placing the victim in fear for his safety.
After a thorough investigation, officers located the defendant Amir Attoussi, 23, of 209-38 41st Avenue and placed him under arrest without incident and recovered the knife. It was later determined the defendant initially provided police with false information regarding his name and is also responsible for two larcenies that occurred in February 2025 and May 2025 in Nassau County.
Defendant Amir Attoussi is charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, False Impersonation, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
