The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident that occurred on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 4:05 a.m. in Massapequa Park.
According to detectives, a 23-year-old male was operating a 2023 Kia Forte eastbound on Sunrise Highway when he struck a 14-year-old male bicyclist near the intersection of Block Boulevard. The bicyclist was transported by a Nassau County Police Department Ambulance to a local hospital where he is in serious condition. The driver remained at the scene. No other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
