
The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of a Levittown man for a Larceny that occurred on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 2:27 pm Wantagh.
According to detectives, Seventh Precinct Officers responded to the United States Postal Office located at 1250 Wantagh Avenue for a larceny involving an employee. Upon arrival, police were informed that the employee’s vehicle contained parcels of mail that did not belong to him. During the investigation officers observed mail on the back seat of the employee’s vehicle and after a thorough investigation Defendant Daniel Schultz, 40, of 232 N Bellmore Road, was arrested without incident. Subsequent to the investigation, Defendant Schultz was found to be in possession of a clear plastic bag with a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine.
Defendant Schultz is being charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, three (3) counts of Petit Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree and Criminal Tampering 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
