The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 12:51 am in Woodbury.

According to Detectives, officers responded to Fairhaven Apartments for a Fire located at 106 Fairhaven Boulevard. The Woodbury Fire Department and neighboring fire departments responded to extinguish the flames. The Nassau County Fire Marshall and Arson Bomb Squad also responded to the scene.   The Red Cross was notified and responded to offer assistance to the displaced residents.  The investigation is ongoing.

All occupants of the building were evacuated safely with no injuries reported.  A firefighter suffered smoke inhalation and was transported to a local area hospital.
