The Special Victims Squad reports the arrest of a Franklin Square man for Forcible Touching, that occurred on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in Franklin Square.
According to Detectives, an adult, female victim was working at the St. Catherine of Sienna Church rectory, located at 33 New Hyde Park Road when the suspect walked up behind her in the kitchen and forcibly touched her. The suspect was known to the victim as he served as a priest at the church and was living at the rectory at the time of the incident. The suspect, John Adjei-Boamah, 43, who now lives in Lake Ronkonkoma, was arrested without further incident.
Defendant John Adjei-Boamah is charged with Forcible Touching and Sexual Abuse 3rd degree. He will be arraigned on Friday, July 4, 2025 at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
