The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Rosedale man for a Grand Larceny that occurred on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 8:42 a.m. in Cedarhurst.
According to Detectives, Fourth Precinct Officers responded to Parts Authority located at 440 Rockaway Turnpike for a stolen vehicle that had just occurred. A 52- year-old male victim parked his 2002 Chevrolet outside of the store with his keys in the ignition and entered the store. Upon returning the victim noticed his vehicle was missing and called 911. During an extensive canvass, Fourth Precinct Detectives located the victim’s vehicle parked in a parking lot off Brookville Boulevard in Rosedale.
Defendant Quentin Ferguson, 28, of 154-71 Brookville Boulevard was observed in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and was arrested without incident. Defendant Ferguson is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, Grand Larceny 4th Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree, and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead
