The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at 1:00 a.m. in Bethpage.
According to Detectives, Police responded to Stymus Avenue in the vicinity of Carol Drive for a single vehicle accident. A 2022 Dodge Durango was driving Eastbound on Stymus Avenue when it struck a tree and subsequently caught fire. The Bethpage Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. The three (3) occupants that were inside the vehicle were pronounced at scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
