The First Squad reports the arrest of an undomiciled man for an Assault that occurred on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 12:45 pm Uniondale.

According to detectives, Defendant Ronaldo Tomlinson, 23, approached a male victim, 31, in Uniondale Park, located at 710 Uniondale Avenue and an argument ensued.  The argument escalated and the defendant punched the victim in the face.  During the altercation, the victim attempted to defend himself and Defendant Tomlinson took out a small box cutter knife and stabbed the victim, causing two small punctures in his back and a slash wound near his right ear. The victim then left the park and the defendant followed him while still holding the knife. Upon police arrival, officers located both the victim and the defendant in front of 560 Uniondale Avenue. Defendant Tomlison was placed under arrest without further incident and transported to a local area hospital for evaluation. The victim was also transported to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation.  

Defendant Tomlison is charged with Assault 2^nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th Degree.  He will be arraigned on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
