The Public Information Office reports the details of the arrest of a Baldwin man for an incident that occurred on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 1:08 am in Oceanside.
According to Police, Fourth Precinct Officers responded to 3001 New Street for a noise complaint. Upon arrival officers observed excessive and unreasonable noise coming from the location. After a thorough investigation the defendant, Bennie Earl Johnson, 46, of 3477 Colony Drive was arrested without incident. The Town of Hempstead Building Department and the Nassau County Fire Marshall responded to the location and issued multiple summons to the defendant for numerous building violations.
Defendant Johnson is charged with General Provisions: Sale without Appropriate License, Govern Licensee: on Premise Disorderly/Gambling and Improper Posting of License. He will be arraigned on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
