The Seventh Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 9:40 pm in Seaford.
According to detectives, a male victim, 29, agreed to sell his Rolex watch, valued at $8500, to an unknown potential purchaser through Facebook Marketplace. Both parties agreed to meet in the parking lot of Starbucks located at 3870 Sunrise Highway. The victim was met by two male Hispanics and while the victim was presenting the Rolex watch to both subjects, they grabbed the watch and pushed the victim to the ground. Both subjects attempted to leave the scene in their car and the victim jumped on the hood of the vehicle to stop them from fleeing. The subjects continued to drive away and the victim was thrown from the hood causing him to suffer a laceration to his head and an injury to his hip. The two male subjects fled in a black Mercedes Benz in an unknown direction. The victim was treated for his injuries at the scene.

Seventh Squad Detectives report the arrest of Sandy Sanchez, 26, of 1785 Story Avenue, Apt. 8A, Bronx, New York, for the above listed Robbery. He is charged with two counts of Robbery 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
