The Seventh Squad reports the Arrest of a Massapequa man that occurred at 6:16pm on Friday, June 2, 2023, in Bellmore.
According to Detectives, an Officer on patrol observed a gray colored 2007 GMC Yukon with an expired state inspection and the operator not wearing his seatbelt traveling east on Sunrise Highway at Newbridge Road. The Officer initiated a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop and as he approached the vehicle, he observed a wooden club leaning on the front passenger seat. For safety reasons the Officer had the driver exit the vehicle; in plain view were metal knuckles in the driver’s door. Subsequent to the investigation an illegal .22 caliber model 21 A Beretta handgun, a black colored spring switchblade knife, a plastic bag containing 8 pills believed to be Oxycodone Hydrochloride and two pills believed to be Amphetamine Dextroamphetamine were recovered. Defendant Sean Marshall, 35, of 100 Commonwealth Avenue was arrested without incident.
Defendant Marshall is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and three Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He will be arraigned on Saturday, June 3, 2023, in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
