The Public Information Office reports the details of a Vehicular Accident that occurred on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 5:25 pm in Baldwin.
According to Police, Officers responded to CVS located at 1829 Grand Avenue for a vehicle that had struck the building. Upon arrival, officers observed a 2027 Kia, being operated by a 64-year-old female, that had collided with the outer wall of CVS. The female operator and her 68-year-old male passenger both suffered minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment. The Town of Hempstead Building Department responded to the scene and deemed the building structurally unsafe. No other injuries were reported.
