The Fifth Squad reports on the multiple arrest of people for a disturbance that occurred on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 4:35 PM in Valley Stream.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to the Green Acres Mall, located at 2034 Green Acres Road East, for reports of a large disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers observed a crowd of approximately 100-150 juveniles yelling and refusing to leave the area. Eight male Juveniles and one male adult were placed under arrest during the process of dispersing the crowd. 

• 13-year-old is charged with Riot 2^nd and Unlawful Assembly 
• 14-year-old is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th
• 15-year-old is charged with two counts of Robbery 2^nd, Assault 3^rd, Riot 2^nd and Unlawful Assembly 
• 15-year-old is charged Attempted Criminal Mischief 4^th, Reckless Endangerment of Property, Riot 2^nd, Unlawful Assembly and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th
• 15-year-old is charged with Petit Larceny
• 16-year-old is charged with Riot 2^nd, Unlawful Assembly and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th 
• 16-year-old is charged with Riot 2^nd and Unlawful Assembly 
• 16-year-old is charged with Petit Larceny 
• 19-year-old, defendant Keith Williams of 116-30 Guy R Brewer Boulevard, Jamaica is charged with Riot 2^nd, Unlawful Assembly, Attempted Assault 3^rd and Endangering Welfare of a Child. 

All juveniles were issued appearance tickets returnable on March 3^rd, 2026 to Family Court. Defendant Keith Williams was issued an appearance ticket returnable on March 3^rd, 2026 to First District Court.
