The Third Squad reports the arrest of a Roosevelt man for a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 8:05 pm in Carle Place.

According to detectives, police responded to the residence of Defendant Jadale Golding, 20, of 20 Brooklyn Avenue and attempted to place him into custody for a Robbery that occurred at 95 Old Country Road in Carle Place.  When detectives approached the subject’s residence, they observed him in his vehicle.  As they approached, he fled on foot and brief foot pursuit ensued.   A short time later he was apprehended and placed under arrest.

Subsequent to the arrest, officers recovered a loaded Glock .40cal handgun from inside the defendant’s vehicle.

Defendant Golding is charged with Robbery 1^st Degree, Menacing 2^nd Degree, two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2^nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3^rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th Degree and Assault 3^rd Degree.   He was arraigned on February 26, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street Hempstead.
