The First Squad reports the arrest of two men and one juvenile for the Criminal Possession of a Firearm that occurred on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 4:30 AM in Roosevelt.
According to Detectives, Officers observed a gray 2014 Chevrolet Impala traveling southbound on Nassau Road making a turn westbound onto Brookside Avenue with an inoperative headlight and moving unsafely between lanes. Officers activated their emergency lights and conducted a Vehicle Traffic Law stop on West Greenwich Avenue near the intersection of Brookside Avenue. While conducting their investigation a clear plastic bottle containing a substance believed to be codeine was recovered from the vehicle. Further investigation resulted in a stolen loaded 9mm Taurus G2C handgun being recovered from the 17-year-old male passenger. The juvenile defendant along with the other passenger, defendant Khalif Abdul Rector, 19 of 210 Kinsley Road, Pemberton, New Jersey were both placed under arrest without incident. As Officers were placing the driver, defendant Supreme Master Allah Douglas, 18 of 1721 John Street, Merrick under arrest he attempted to the flee the scene but was stopped and successfully placed under arrest. No injuries reported at scene.
Defendant Supreme Master Allah Douglas is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree, Resisting Arrest and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Infractions. Defendant Khalif Abdul Rector is charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. The juvenile defendant is charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, Criminal possession of Stolen Property 4th degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree.
