The Fifth Squad reports the arrest of a Valley Stream man for a Burglary that occurred on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in West Hempstead.
According to Detectives, Fifth Precinct Officers responded to a June Place residence for a Burglary report. A 62-year-old female and a 28-year-old male report that while they were out of the residence someone entered their home without their permission. The suspect removed a PlayStation 5 console along with 2 PlayStation controllers and assorted clothing. After a thorough investigation, defendant Juan Trejo Lopez, 25, of 21 Sunset Road was located and arrested without incident.
Defendant Trejo Lopez is charged with Burglary 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
