The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident that occurred on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 5:58 pm in Jericho.
According to detectives, a 2013 Toyota Highlander was involved in collision with a 2016 Chevrolet Suburban while traveling eastbound on the Long Island Expressway in the vicinity of Exit 41. As a result of the collision, the male operator, 36, of the Chevrolet Suburban and two passengers, a 32-year-old female and a 13-year-old male, were transported by Nassau County Police Ambulance to a local area hospital for treatment of their injuries. An 11-year-old male passenger in the Chevrolet Suburban was airlifted by Nassau County Aviation Helicopter 6 to a local hospital for treatment of a serious leg injury. No other injuries were reported.
