The First Squad reports the arrest of a Roosevelt man for a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at approximately 10:45 PM in Roosevelt.
According to Detectives, a 15-year-old female victim was walking her dog on Conlon Road near the intersection of Grenada Avenue when she was approached by defendant Keame Rowser, 29, of 69 Conlon Road. The defendant forcibly removed the dog from the victim and walked away from scene. Police responded and after an investigation, the defendant was located and arrested without incident. The dog was returned to the victim. No injuries reported at scene.
Defendant Keame Rowser is charged with Robbery 3rd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
