The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:30 PM in Hicksville.
According to Detectives, a 23-year-old male was operating a 2026 White BMW, westbound on Old Country Road in the vicinity of Sterling Place where he lost control of his vehicle, crossed over into on-coming traffic and struck a tree and then a building. The two 19-year-old female passengers suffered severe trauma and were pronounced at scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment.
The investigation is on-going.

The above listed victims have been identified as Alexa Duryea, 19, of Levittown and Lindsey Parke, 19, of Levittown.

The Homicide Squad reports the arrest of Frank Labidi, 23, of 1207 Vista View Drive, Farmingville for the above incident. He is charged with two counts of Manslaughter 2nd Degree and two counts of Assault 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Friday, January 30, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
