The Fourth Squad reports on the arrest of an undomiciled man for an Assault that occurred on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 9:05 PM in Lawrence.
According to Detectives, Officers responded to a McDonalds located at 365 Rockaway Turnpike for reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers located defendant Jonathan Green, 37, who was asked to leave the location. Defendant Green complied and walked outside, but then attempted to go back in and refused Officers commands to stop. A physical altercation then began, and two Officers sustained injuries during the course of the arrest as the defendant was violent and combative while resisting arrest. Defendant Green and the two injured Officers were all transported to nearby hospitals for assessment and treatment.
Defendant Jonathan Green is charged with two counts of Assault 2nd degree, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. He will be arraigned on Monday, November 10, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
