The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11:41 AM in South Farmingdale.

According to detectives, an 80 year old male was entering a 2012 Hyundai parked in front of 95 Woodward Parkway when his vehicle was struck by a stolen 2013 Nissan being operated by a 24 year old male. The driver then fled from the scene on foot. Officers located the Defendant Randy Colon, 24, of 8 Seth Lane, Hicksville nearby and placed him under arrest without incident.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced. He has been identified as Peter Morris, 80, of South Farmingdale.

Defendant Randy Colon is charged with Manslaughter 2^nd Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4^th Degree, Grand larceny 4^th Degree and Leaving the Scene of an Incident Resulting in Death. He will be arraigned on Saturday, November 8, 2025 in First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
