The Public Information Office reports the arrest of a Queens man for an incident that occurred on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 10:00 PM in Valley Stream.
According to police, officers responded to the Walmart parking lot located at 77 Green Acres Road for a call of a child left unattended in a vehicle. An investigation by officers determined that Defendant Triston Evans, 30, left his 3-year-old daughter unattended and he was placed under arrest without incident. The child was unharmed and released to a family member.
Defendant Triston Evans is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
