The First Squad reports the details on the arrest of four males for a Burglary that occurred on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 1:18 AM in Rockville Center.
According to detectives, two Burglaries in which four male subjects would forcefully enter the premises occurred at the following dates and locations;
- Tobacco Town and Vape Shop, 3395 Long Beach Road, Oceanside on December 12, 2025 at approximately 12:34 AM
- Rockville Centre Smoke and Vape, 11 North Village Avenue, Rockville Center on December 12, 2025 at approximately 1:18 AM
Following a thorough investigation into the above incidents by First Squad Detectives along with the assistance of the Fourth Squad, the Bureau of Special Operations (BSO), Electronics Squad and the Hempstead Police Department, they were able to identify the vehicle used by the subjects, a white 2016 Nissan Rogue and located it on Ormand Street in Hempstead. Defendants Michael Cooper, 30 of 75 Arkansas Drive, North Valley Stream, Jaison Burton, 20 of 95 Wellesley Street, Hempstead and two male juveniles, ages 17 and 16 were placed under arrest without incident. Further investigation resulted in proceeds from the Rockville Centre Smoke and Vape being recovered from the vehicle.
All four defendants are charged with Burglary 3rd degree, Attempted Burglary 3rd degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd degree. Defendants Cooper and Burton will be arraigned on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at First District Court. The two juvenile defendants will be arraigned on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at County District Court Youth Center.
