The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Homicide that occurred on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 4:05 a.m. in Uniondale.
According to Detectives, First Precinct Officers responded to a 911 call for an aided in the vicinity of 979 Nassau Road. Upon arrival, officers located an unknown male who was pronounced deceased at scene by a Nassau County Police Medic.
The investigation is ongoing.

The victim has been identified as Tadeo Alvarado-Chavez, 40, of Roosevelt.

Defendant Jorge Alexander Huezo Villatoro, 35 of El Salvador was placed under arrest for the above listed incident. He is being charged with Murder 2nd degree and will be arraigned on Friday, September 18, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
