The Seventh Squad reports on the arrest of three men for a Burglary that occurred on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 1:27 AM in Massapequa.
According to Detectives, Officers responded to the Sunrise Mall, located at 850 Sunrise Highway for three males inside after store hours. Upon arrival, Officers observed that multiple doors had been damaged, while searching the premise they located three male subjects. Defendants Omar Flores, 21 of 10609 97 Avenue, Queens, Isiah Rodriguez, 20 of 75 Hickory Lane, Levittown and Shea Velazquez, 19 of 1442 Herring Lane, Clermont, Florida were all placed under arrest without incident. Defendant Shea Velazquez was found to have a speed loader containing six bullets on his person. A further investigation resulted in the recovery of a black Smith & Wesson .38 Special revolver from the defendant’s vehicle, a silver Nissan Ultima parked on Eastgate Road.
Defendants Omar Flores, Isiah Rodriquez and Shea Velazquez are all charged with Burglary 3rd degree, Possession of Burglar Tools and Criminal Mischief 3rd degree. Defendant Shea Velazquez is additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm. They will all be arraigned on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead
