The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 8:53 PM in Massapequa.
According to detectives, a 12 year old female was crossing Carman Mill Road in the vicinity of Oakley Street when she was struck by a 2024 Acura SUV being operated by a 75 year old male southbound on Carman Mill Road. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition. The driver of the vehicle remained at scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
