The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 5:33 PM in Lynbrook.
According to detectives, a 46 year old female was crossing Sunrise Highway at the intersection of Horton Avenue when she was struck by a 2012 Hyundai being operated by an 18 year old male. The victim was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced by a hospital physician. The driver of the vehicle remained at scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
