The First Squad reports the arrest of two males for an incident that occurred on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 1:53 a.m. in Uniondale.

According to detectives, officers conducted a Vehicle Traffic Law stop on a black 2023 Nissan Sentra on Paff Avenue in the vicinity of Elm Place. Officers observed defendant D’Andre Randazzo, 19, of 572 Paff Avenue in the rear passenger-side and defendant Kalil Roye, 21, of 1086 Jefferson Street, Baldwin in the driver-side. During the course of the investigation, a loaded Glock 23 .40 caliber handgun was located on defendant Randazzo’s person and a switchblade knife was located on defendant Roye’s person.

Defendant D’Andre Randazzo is being charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2^nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3^rd. Defendant Roye is being charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th and multiple traffic infractions. They were arraigned on Friday, February 20, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
