The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 7:35 p.m. in North Lawrence.
According to Detectives, a 62-year-old female was crossing Burnside Avenue in the vicinity of Washington Place when she was struck by a dark colored SUV being operated by an unknown person. The vehicle then fled scene westbound on Burnside Avenue. The pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital where she is currently listed in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
