The Narcotics Vice Squad reports the arrest of a Freeport man for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 12:40 PM in Freeport.
According to detectives, on a previous date, Defendant Julio Enmanuel Pena, 39, made arrangements to sell cocaine to an individual and had his 13 year old daughter complete the transaction. Subsequent to an investigation, the defendant was arrested at his Freeport residence without incident. An additional quantity of a substance believed to be cocaine was recovered at the time of his arrest.
Defendant Julio Enmanuel Pena is charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Conspiracy 3rd Degree, Use of a Child to Commit a Controlled Substance Offense and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead
