The Homicide Squad reports on a Robbery that occurred on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 5:27 AM in South Hempstead.
According to detectives, officers were dispatched near the intersection of May Street and Grand Avenue for reports of a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who had sustained head injuries. The male victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.
